XM3 SAEM (Stand Alone Reader)

The XM3 SAEM is a stand-alone proximity reader and controller which functions as a single door access control solution and can easily be connected to an RS485 network.

Up to 5000 users may be added to the reader, default setting is 1000 users.

An optional set of program master cards is available (add, remove, night, and lock-unlock mode).

When in a network, (software available free of charge), user names can be added or deleted, the reader log may be viewed and you can carry out a search by User, Event and Date.

XMCU4/A Connection Unit

The XMCU4 connection Unit makes installing an XM3 SAEM stand-alone reader very easy.

Removable connectors for the XM3 wires, as well as RJ45 sockets for the RS485 network, enable quick and reliable connections.

An external relay is available on the XMCU4 unit for switching an electric release, to improve the security using a relay on the so-called ‘safe side’ of the building.This external relay can be activated by a coded signal from the XM3.

Each XM3 has to be powered by an individual 12 volt dc power supply (to be supplied by others).

All XMCU4A connection units have a USB to RS485 converter making it a very cost-effective solution.This Advanced unit should be mounted no more than 3 mts from the PC.

XMMC3 ISO master card set

The following cards are included:

	Add User
	Delete User
	Lock-Unlock ( when this card is presented to the reader the door will be unlocked until presented again)
	Night (After this card is presented to the reader all other user cards cease to operate at that reader, and when the Night Card is presented again, the door will unlock momentarily and users will then be enabled)

XMVR3 Vandal resistant cover for the XM3 SAEM

This cover replaces the existing plastic cover, to help protect the reader in areas accessed by the public.

XM3PRO Dongle

This dongle is designed to be inserted in to the USB Port of the PC where the XM3 Manage software is installed, and will allow multiple time zones and user validation.

XM3 Manage Software

Supplied F.O.C when an XMCU4A Connection unit is used.This software enables the user to program system functionality, and add users etc.

	30 users maximum

To work with Dallas and Denver electronic keys, Keypads and Proximity systems.Dead man Function: the relay is activated as long as a key touches the reader. Automatic Function: first touch->up; second touch->stop; third touch->down. Each relay can stay activated, in automatic function, for 30 or 60 sec.

BC Tech 101 is an interface unit to allow the ASS-1 (surface stainless steel) or AFS-1(flush stainless steel) external 1 button audio door station, to connect to a standard telephone line, the door station will not dial another number, it will only call the phones connected to the line. Control of the electric door lock is also possible.

To open the door or gate push ‘0’ on the telephone handset. If the phone is in use a ‘call waiting’ tone is heard when the door station button is pressed.To put caller on hold and talk to visitor press ‘# #’.
To open door press ‘0’(call will then switch back to original caller).

Note: Door can be opened without switching calls by simply pressing ‘0’.To initiate a call to the door station, pick up the phone and press ‘#1’.
