Cross Point developed dedicated connection units to make the installation of XM3 readers
in a network as quick & clean as possible. The connection boxes are individually
connected using Cat 5 cable and RJ45 plugs. The connection of the XM3 reader is done
using a removable connector plug from the XMCU4 connection box. A colour coding on
the connector informs the installer what cable-core colour of the XM3 connects to where
on the connector. Just follow the colour scheme!
Cross Point offers 2 type of connection boxes, XMCU4 in the network and the XMCU4A -
Advanced - version for installation close to the PC. The XMCU4A - Advanced - version
connects to the PC with an USB connection. |
